These images and videos I created to go along with clips from songs by the artist Ginamaya. The above animation is for her song called "Lucy", a song about mysticism, allure and the unknown.
The song "Apples (So Into You)" is a love song. The subtle, simple linework reflects the softness of the song. The Song "Wabi Sabi" is about art appreciation of old things as well as urban art. The dripping bright colors and rounded shapes are reminiscent of street art and echo the feel of the retro synth sounds.
The above illustration I created for Ginamaya's song "Lemonhead", a fun lighthearted song. The bright yellow color and squiggly lines complement the playfulness of the song
This single art is for a song called "Salty". The art I created in the style of pop art. The repetition of different colors and the varied, imperfect layering mimics screen printing.
